The fee

The Clerk's fee-schedule table states the same total in components: a $5 first-page fee, a $10 archive fee, and a $10 management fee, plus $4 for each additional page and $0.25 for each name over five indexed. A one-page deed with five or fewer names to index costs $25. Each additional page adds $4. Each indexed name over five adds $0.25.
If the grantee's mailing address is missing, Texas Property Code section 11.003 provides a penalty filing fee equal to the greater of $25 or twice the statutory recording fee for the instrument, unless the address appears in the instrument or in a separate writing signed by the grantor or grantee and attached to the instrument. The validity of the conveyance between the parties is not affected by failure to include the address.

There should be a 1 to 2 inch margin across the top and left margin of the document for recording information.
